Would I gain anything by swapping from Cyanogen 7.1 (Stable) to Swedish Snow ?

Having frustrating internet experience, and poor battery life :-(

Using the standard browser (Yes- I have tried others !) a web page loads about 80% then sits for ages... this can be cured with a reboot, so maybe a memory hole ?

Battery lasts around a day, with no phone calls and moderate web browsing...

So, would I be "better" on another ROM ?

Thanks for any advice...
Paul

SS lasts a day for me, with plus than 2 hours of phone call, wifi on from 7 am to 1 am, browsing a lot, playing about 30 min, gmail and facebook sync on.

Swedish Snow is solid as rock, CyanogenMod 7.1 has all the customisations.

I'm using Swedish Snow because I need it to last long and be stable, CM is cool though, that's why I have it on my tablet

You should really be using a much newer version of Cm7 than that if you do decide to keep with CM!

My Blade site - includes vanilla KANGS's of CM7.  Also available: modified GB Gapps with various market versions, mini ICS Gapps for 160mb system partitions and Flash for ARMv6

Swedish Snow is a solid rom with some CM7 inclusions that make it that bit better, so I'd go with that if you're not too bothered about customisations :)

I prefer CM7 (using the latest nightly) http://download.cyan...m/?device=blade just make sure you use a better launcher ADW runs very slow.

CM 7.1 is a good ROM for playing 2d/3d games (and some apps which market says that are not compatible with the phone), but the battery life is not very good.

I switched over from Fish AND chips to RLS7.

As soon as i started using this i found a bug. The wifi even if connected doesnt allow internet connection. i.e i cannot browse anything. I have to restart to again start using internet.

Secondly the battery life has become miserable. I did battery calib too. still dint help. On the standby without even a single call the battery empties to 2% in 7-8 hours.

When i check the option whats using the battery i can see mobile standby 48% and cell standby 49%.

Can someone please help me with the remedy.

Rest all is rock solid for this one of the best roms
