THIS IS BASED ON ICE CRAEM SANDWICH  
THIS IS 2.3.7 ZTE RACER ROM .............

Installation method using ClockWorkMod Recovery

1.Copy the rom to the root of your sdcard
2.Backup your old ROM, so if anything is broken you can just rollback!!!
How to backup:
Press powerbutton and VolumeDown (leave volume down pressed). After afew seconds, recovery will open
With volume keys, go to "backup and restore". Select that option
Now select "Backup" and wait
3.Once backup complete press power button to go back to main menu
4.Select "wipe data/factory reset"
5.Go to submenu "mounts and storage"
6.Choose "format /boot" "format /data" "format /cache" "format /system" "format /sd-ext" - confirm every action
7.Return to 1st menu and goto Advanced and delete Dalvik cache
8.Return to 1st menu and choose "install zip from sdcard" - "choose zip"
9.After installing, do "reboot system now"

YOU MAY NEED TO RESTART IT TWICE  BUT AFTER ONE OR TWO RESTARTS........IT WILL BECOME SMOOTH................

looking good! just a few things,can i move apps (etc) to sd card? and is this based on cm7?(i know its not 4.0!)as on racerboys i.c.s. ROM i could not find a way of doing it(the ROM would not let me) until plegdroid helped with a s2e apk. will i have to do that on this ROM? as i do like moving stuff from phone to the sd card. and thanks for a new ROM for the racer!(and can i download superuser from market instead?)

yes you can move apps from settings > applications > manage applications  >

open app which u want to move to sd card..............

then click on  " move to sd " option ........... u have done..............

yes you can use superuser app .
just install it .......

if it does'nt work first time then uninstall it and again install it..............

think i find 2 faults(sorry!)for some reason i can no longer play you tube videos on the phone(have 2 short vid`s on phone and they play fine) the other is this x loud thing in the sound settings.watched a video on you tube(via comp) about it but it didn't help is it meant to work on the racer? everything else is working fine.does anyone have an answer for this? i will switch back to my last ROM(that i backed up) just to check its not the phone.

yes,  xloud. and. 4g option in setting are of no use ......

but.  YouTube vedioes. are playable & downloadable.........
just use tubegod.apk. or tubex.apk
I have used it and it is fine....

you can download as well as play vedioes with this apk

i think it may be something to do with my browser,as when i use it to go on you tube,it loads the video,but it wont play it.(it also happens when i play you tube link on Facebook.)looked for tubegod find that on market but tubex comes back as a game!downloaded both tubegod & you tube(just to see which one is better) and video`s now play.just one little thing,when i get an e-mail notification,i get the ringtone for incoming calls.(i unchecked the box for incoming call volume notifications)and i gave text and e-mail different ringtone`s.its not a great thing but sometimes i think i`ve got a call! thanks for links(superuser etc)

no there is no problem in booting with another kernel ,.............

it support a long list of languages..........
just check in settings>language and input>language
default is english but you can choose any language........

yes, u r right, it can boot with vasmshi kernel but the 3 buttons( menu, home,back  ) have no haptic feedback. after this...........
you can use other deadlink kernel  for super smooth ness. ( link given in xperia styled rom post)

Guys you need the "touch_to_key" binary file added to the ROM for haptic, menu, home,back buttons to work with Vamshi`s kernel      you`ll find the file in 99% of my ROMS
