[ROOT] ROOT ICS Android 4.0.3 (Huawei MediaPad, T-Mobile Springboard, Orange Tahiti.)  

1) Download Huawei MediaPad ROOT ICS Android 4.0.x.rar
Download Fast / Download Slow
2) Connect the tablet to your PC, install the driver.
3) In the settings of the tablet enable debugging by USB .
4) Unpack the archive.
5) Run the Install Root.cmd wait three reboots.

Thanks! I want to root my Mediapad to underclock the processor...I heard it will extend my battery life. I am also concern, if rooting will be permanent? For example, will I be able to install a newer update ROM from Huawei (if there is in the future), using the SD card method? (Not OTA). Sorry, I'm very new with Android. Thanks.
