Try a thing you haven’t done three times. Once, to get over the fear of doing it. Twice, to learn how to do it. And a third time, to figure out whether you like it or not.

i've just flashed it on that and it's screwed it all up - won't boot.  and annoyingly, i didn't take a clockwordmod backup first so i've got to re-install the whole damn thing again

*edit*

sorted it - just flashed AOKP 6.5.3 again and it's fine

Works perfectly fine on Swedish Snow RLS7. I did notice considerable difference in sound. Will try it out on CM7.2.

I know this has been neglected for like 7 month or so but, has anyone tried any of these on a JB rom like KonstaT's final CM10?

I found this on XDA and fount it working fully on GB roms. However these mods are not supported with ICS\JB roms. so peoples no sound enhancement mod will work on ICS/JB.

Actually, It's only for ICS and later, but some people report that it's working on some GB ROMs, too

All it "enhacements", like Beats Audio, "works" same - it brakes all audio postprocessing, thats why you hear changes in output quality. All other "wows" are placebo.

That is simply not true, there are plenty of enhancement libs that do work and are compatible with the EQ's they come with, they replace DSP.

An example of that would be the SRS patch from Burstlams thread.

I'd advice you to stick around a while and check this forum out before you post things like this, this isn't xda.

That will do absolutely NOTHING on GB and will cause ICS/JB to crap out because in ICS/JB the libs are actually used and they do not WORK with our hardware.

The only sound enhancement i'm aware of that DOES work is the SRS patches from Burstlams thread and they ONLY work for ICS/JB.

I tried SRS patches from Burstlam on PA JB, but I got soft boots after every 1 or 2 minutes.

You're right, it's intended for use with ICS, my mistake.

I don't know if there is an updated version for JB floating around, it's not something i use.
