So we will finally get ICS quite a while after Jellybean is available to at least 4 devices officially. Sucks! Still can't understand the reasoning behind releasing this phone with Gingerbread.

Sure it runs ridiculously well but as a phone Intel are ploughing advertising money into you would think the OS would match the hardware. I like this phone too much to be bothered enough to get rid of it...but still live in hope!

Maybe they will skip to JB, seems that it could be easier than ICS

I think nobody outside of Google/Asus can really say before JB is pushed to AOSP. I suspect onldy minor changes in terms of need for new drivers, etc, so the main slowing down factor would be QA and carrier testing, as usual.

Ha! ICS will be the next release for the SD, terribly optimistic to think JB will make it onto it

I doubt Orange will bother. They never updated the ZTE Blade's OS.
