This is for the people that put their lg l3 in clockwork mod in recovery bootloop
(don't use OTA upgrade, because it will cause bootloop)

below on this post i put the link to the original post on Xda with the file recovery.img needed
I've atached the tools.zip file
unzip the file tools.zip in c:

You have to adb to bootloader from cmd line in windows
adb reboot-bootloader
and then fastboot stock recovery (see attachment)
and use from cmd line

fastboot

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

at last u type fastboot reboot
And u would be saved

i followed the above procedure but after the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" , it says < waiting for device > and stays there .
Also adb reboot-bootloader works only if i enable usb debugging mode .
Please help i am unable to install CWM recovery .

i was trying to do it it all night with xp but kept getting a "waiting for device" error

as i use linux mostly. i had to borrow a friends windows 7 64bit laptop installed the lg drivers and it worked a charm.

so it seems windows 7 is the way to go, getting my lg optimus l3 back in action no more playing around with my smartphone from now on lol

I've tried flashing a stock recovery using adb  on OSX, Windows and Linux and adb cannot connect to the phone when it's in CWM.

The phone refuses to boot, just goes into CWM each time.

I've tried wiping all partitions then flashing various stock ROMs with KDZ and the phone still gets stuck in CWM boot loop.

Can anyone suggest anything that might help flash the phone back to stock settings?
