And why people want so badly a branded rom from vodafone with crapware and crippled with their settings and it will be based on b927?

Because they have said it will have openGL

May be based on an entirely different version to 927, who knows as there are usually a few test builds before a release and Huawei are giving a mid to late August release timeframe so plenty of time to improve the rom.
If people want OpenGL implemented, now is the time to push for it as it will be highly unlikely to be added after ics is released. The more functions huawei and Vodafone add, the less work our devs have to do.

They have only said it will support OpenGL which is a careful choice of words and this doesn't mean hardware acceleration will be active or functional. It appears that the current ics releases support OpenGL also but its not working.

Here's my 2 cents sent to Huawei UK:

Hi,

Please strongly consider making OpenGL functional on the G300 for the new ICS release scheduled, this summer. All the reviews of Android 4.0 praised this use of OpenGL (hardware acceleration), because it brought so much speed to the system.

Therefore if this OS update was released without the functional use of OpenGL it would be a real "letdown". It would cause me to consider, selling the G300 and looking at another brand.
