been following the Era and Oppo for quite sometime now..earlier I was looking at Mi-2 but then wifey got the S3 and was blown away by the performance specially since we shed the Touchwiz and went CM10!
And just like you guys, I'll probably get the ZTE if it hits the USD 250 mark, or Oppo if it dips at USD 400..I was always a big fan of price/performance ratio..
I could prolly wait till Jan 2013 to see of we get them at our 'target' prices..but then by that time the new Nexus will be in town..tough choice!

Personally i think that ZTE's idiocy is finally catching up on them because even if they do release the era for a price of £200 who's going to buy that over the nexus 4 unless of course they want a micro sd card?
LG Nexus 4 running CM10.1

if the nexus 4 had expandable memory i would not even look at the era... (its the only thing stopping me getting the N 4)
we should expect the zte era for £199.99 as the nexus 4 is only £239.99 sim free with 2GB RAM..

that's the thing... the 8GB version will only actually have 5.5GB available
and the 16GB version will have about 12.5GB available
its like this on all devices with those sizes
this is a no go for anyone that plays games and stores movies / music on the phone... games theses days are hitting 1.5GB / 2GB
that 2GB ram and quad core CPU is only going to be put to use if you do the above things...
winch are massively limited due to the stupid lack of microSD slot... (arhhh, why Google?)
total gutted as i would of took the neuxs 4 all day long if it had expandable memory... without it, its useless to me

No microSD slot, maybe a 32Go version will be announced like the nexus 7 32Go.
But it won't be the same price

£319.99 i would guess,
one thing is clear though.. similar phones for a similar prices will probably pop up soon to match the competition, with a microSD card slot..
so zte need to hurry the fu*k up and release the era worldwide before its not worth looking at...
seriously they have the worst marketing on the planet... announced 10 moth ago and still not released ???
nexus 4 announced today... released 13th November... basically 2 weeks later

I know, do google not realise that if only they were to include a micro sd-card slot that the nexus 4 would be the ultimate device? I am just tempted to get the nexus 4 because of the amazing specs to price ratio and i am fed up of constantly having an under-powered phone xD. It would have to be the 16gb version though as I need more than 5gb of storage. That said if ZTE release the era before the nexus 4 then I think i shall go for the era as its specs are not much less than that of the nexus 4. This is only if the era is offered at £200 or less sim-free. Come on ZTE, they've got the marketing all wrong, now lets see if they can make up for the incredibly long wait with an incredible price?
Edit: The way to get around the nexus 4's lack of internal storage would be to have a tiny microusb memory stick (I know they are sadly not available) plugged into the device or some how integrated into a case. Just throwing ideas about

There will be a ton of nexus copies like there always has been when a new nexus comes out, hopefully with expandable memory. Won't be getting all the new OS though
