Is this going to be available in the near future?
I am running 4.0 stock but would LOVE 4.1 with project butter and also want to overclock

How you update to 4.0? What firmware you have installed?

It was bought brand new running 4.0. Its actually called the "R22" but i cannot find any reference to that model name anyway but has exact identical spec to the Acqua on GSMarena (which also specifys 4.0)

According to the following source ZTE Acqua will receive its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update this October.

sigh..... until end of November it's still no 4.1 update yet. I feel ZTE marketing talk only.
