I'll try to compile kernel from sources to see if we can get the clockworkmod booting.

Made some real progress. Completing clockworkmod that we can try
to boot (not flash) so we can make a nandroid backup of stock rom + install superuser.
The good thing is we don't have to flash the clockworkmod but just boot it from external image.
This means no changes will be made to device at all so because it will not rewrite stock recovery.
I just need that cat /proc/mtd to double check the partition layout. Preparing the clockworkmod package will be
a question of couple of minutes after that.
C'mon guys. I don't have the whole day for this

Use full editor (more reply options)
Or just paste it here. It's not too much of text.

A quick guide how to make 100% stock backup including original recovery.
This will not alter your device's system in any way because we will not be flashing anything.
So there is nothing to fear of.
Get this package containing all necessary tools and clockworkmod recovery image:
http://ceco.sk.eu.or...d-skateplus.zip
Enable USB debugging on Phone (Settings / Applications / Development menu / USB debugging)
Connect phone, install drivers if not already installed, eject all removable drives relevant to phone
Open windows device manager. You should see this: http://ceco.sk.eu.or...ver/driver1.JPG
Run "boot-clockworkmod.bat"
Wait for reboot - ClockworkMod should boot shortly - If phone is staying at green android logo for a long time it's time to check the device manager for some driver specific issues:
Open windows device manager and look for Android device. If present but with warning sign, you have
to update drivers first. Right click Android device, choose Update driver, Select "ADB Interface" from list,
"let me pick...", uncheck "Show only compatible" on next screen and choose "ZTE composite ADB interface", confirm even
if it warns you about incompatibility.
This should make your Android device functional and CWM should boot shortly.
When in CWM main menu (if it doesn't boot into menu, see next paragraph):
Go to backup and restore and do Backup
It will be stored in sdcard/clockworkmod/backups
After that I will provide the rooting package.
If CWM menu won't appear this means my clockworkmod has some compatibility problems with the device.
This must be expected since I am not able to test it myself. You could test if you can at least get into shell.
In command prompt within Clockworkmod-skateplus directory, you type: adb-windows.exe shell
If root shell appears (#) this is a good sign.

Great.
Now. Download this package and put in on SD card: http://ceco.sk.eu.or...c/Superuser.zip
Boot into clockworkmod the same way as previously.
In menu choose: install zip from sd card / choose zip from sd card
Browse for Superuser.zip. Flash it and reboot.

You don't need to. Just store in on some safe place. Later you could maybe upload it somewhere so I can put it in my archive of stock roms.
For now to root you just need to follow instructions in my previous post.

No. Superuser.apk is already included in the zip file. No errors during flashing the zip?
