Hi
Is there a way to minimize the gain for the microphone? Because there is heavy clipping in huge sound environments like rock concerts; I'd like to recover the ability to share some moments of music I had in my hold cell with remote friends. Even the Sound Recorder app is clipping a lot and generates unusable files;

I found the same problem... The audio recorded is terribile. Somebody has An advice?

Changing voice call volume helps?

No way :-( i' m just using lgcamera and trying with AAC or ARM_WB  and the audio is much better but not good enough

Same here. I tried with all output volume settings available: none had any influence over input sensitivity... what would have be strange.

Did you try with the handsfree's kit mic?

i think it's a software problem. I tried the RecForge pro app and the results is better: you can decide to recording in wave, mp3 or ogg, the frequency from 8k to 44k, the microfone to use (front or back) and finally in the main screen thers's the gain ...but this app is only for audio recording... there should be a video recording app like this

Didn't try a handsfree mic. I'll try, thank you for the idea. An app to set the general input sensitivity would also allow lower volume signal to voice calls... great for live gigs for friends that don't even have MMS possibility.
