Blades don't have system.img's in ext 4 format.

What phone are these files from/for?

I think that the dot before ext4 is odd. And why do you need pack/repack under Windows? Have no linux distr to install it on virtual machine or boot from live cd?

Ext4 under windows? Forget it...

If you seriously ask such a question, you shouldn't brother any kind of flasher, which you seem to do.

Actually, it's possible to mount ext4 file systems under Windows 7 and it is easy.

There are plenty of tools that can mount an ext4 system image available for windows too, like FTK Imager

I had the misfortune of being stuck with a windows 7 computer for a while on a trip so i had to find out how to do it, otherwise i wouldn't know either.

Well, I can imagine it. I'm stuck with win server 2012, probably for longer I could stand it.
