Guest hippy dave
hi guys, since i got the g300 i've just been using the 4gig microsd i already had from my broken nokia, but i'm going to get a bigger one when i have the chance. is there a maximum capacity that the g300 supports? do i need to worry about the speed/class of the card? if i do a straight copy of the directory tree from the old card to the new card, will the phone carry on working as if nothing's changed? cheers :)
Guest top_score
from the Vodafone website: Memory card type: microSD (up to 32 GB) I use an 8gig, no idea what class. don't really think it makes much(if any) difference in the real world unless your a benchmark fanboy that loves running the meaningless tests. I think it should be a simple copy and paste from your old card to new card, I've never encountered any problems from copying to PC, formatting card (to use for other stuff ) reformatting and just copying back, without any issues on the phone. just my opinion based on my own experience, do not hold me accountable for issues. this is a limited guarantee not including personal injury, acts of god, nuclear war blah blah blah.
