I have been seeing tpt's with 32 MB of cache partition, Our roms for zte blade uses only ~1.0 MB then whats benefit of 32MB of cache partition? will larger cache partition increase performance?

on stock ROM, cache is used to store the data of downloaded apps from Play Store before they are installed
on custom ROM, downloaded apps are directed to data partition, so you can download big 30mb+ apps

That centeinly isnt seams to be true coz when i had 2mb TPT i was able to download 30+ MB apps, if there is no benefit of such large cache partition then why there are TPT's available for 32MB of cache?
