Mine has cracked down the side by the clip, the opposite side to the prise-off slot. I've supergled it closed, and fortunately I use a hard case cover thingy so it's hidden. Not yet, but I might try harder next time! :P Actually almost all times I do not have to remove the back cover and can enter recovery mode by just turning off the phone and rebooting while pressing the volume button..
