Did a clean wipe from your CM build to this yesterday and I've been noticing it charges incredibly slowly now...is that just me? Battery stats look pretty normal, just like it's suddenly charging much slower.

Edit: Weird, installed Franco Kernel and it's charging 4x faster. Something up with stock?

Is any black magic needed to get Google Wallet to appear?

I've installed Jr8 from the kitchen with no wipe from a stock 4.2.1 ROM and the wallet is sitting in /system/app with the correct permissions but it isn't visible in the app drawer (nor will it launch from ES File explorer's launcher where it is visible).

You need to defrost / enable it just once. :-)

I don't seem to be able to turn on LTE on this version. Worked just fine on previous version which was based on 4.2.1. I am on Rogers in Canada btw...

As usual, going to Phone Settings, instead of default "WCDM preferred" selecting "LTE only", but it does not stay, it jumps back to "WCDMA preferred".
Same if I choose "LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)" - does not stay, goes back to WCDMA.

Looks like latest version of radio has LTE removed. Has nothing to do with Paul's build...

Can we have a previous version of radio as an option in kitchen?


Ok, I just flashed .27 version of radio, and LTE is back!

Didn't do much testing, but so far - no problems whatsoever.
I saw on XDA that .33 radio had some problems, and there were numerous recommendations to use .27, thats what I tried, and it is looking good.

Minor issue. The icon for GPS fix is wrong. Mine looks like it's downloading a file. As far as I have noticed all other icons are correct.

Hi Paul

That's done something very odd to my internal storage. It's showing as just 1.4GB available, but when I add up all of the elements below it only adds up to 2GB. My Nexus is showing as 12.92GB total space, so no idea where the missing space is. Apps is only 720MB

OK, this is odd, and a bit worrying. I went to restore from a previous backup, and got MD5 mismatch error.
I browsed to sdcard/clockworkmod and there is nothing in there. Despite this, when I go to backup and restore from the recovery menu, it lists my previous backups.

Looks to me as though it is creating the backups and putting an entry somewhere but then not actually saving them in sdcard/clockworkmod

Please help - do I need to flash a new recovery image?

OK, even odder. I just did a new backup and restored it immediately, and it worked!
So why can't I restore from the previous backup that I did less than an hour ago?
