Hi guys,

As the title, my OSD stopped receiving/ sending calls and texts on Friday. I called Orange and they suggested a new sim, which I got and inserted - transferred my account details over to the new sim but the same problem. Phone is fine in every other regard and shows a signal on the Orange/ T-Mobile Network.

It's not rooted and running ICS 4.0.4.

Any help would be gratefully received!

Is this to all numbers or only some?

Hi, yes it is all numbers. Same with trying to send texts. They just hang.

The strange thing is mobile data over the network seems to be ok?

Sometimes you have to have the network settings set up on the phone and internet settings are separate I'm not sure. Go onto the dialer and dial #. What's the outcome?

It says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code."

Just tried the # trick and got the same message and I have no problem. I presume you've tried rebooting?

Yes, many, many times! I'm thinking it's a hardware problem, but it just seems strange that it's calls and texts only. I'll pop it into the Orange Shop tomorrow.
