Hey guys. Where can I find the stock Orange RO ics firmware? Not the update.zip. I'm looking for a firmware that can be flashed using the ADT. Thanks

Cand ai intrat in cwm faci factory reset , wipe dalvik cache , wipe cache si wipe battery stats.

I`m wondering.. vache, can't you modify baseband from stock EMEA_ORGROD to a baseband from another stock rom ? I mean.. phone won't get network unlocked  ? just an idea..

I don't know.. i need fast a method to unlock my phone from current carrier...

1'st thing to do is unlocking BL. After that the custom MODS could help us unlocking it (temporary maybe) using the unlocking Samsung S apk from play store. This is just a theory tbh, saw it working on other android phone: Samsung GT-9003 unlocked it from UK carrier.

According to this post there might be coming out an update (4.1) for the Orange RO model half february ?  I hope an official version of the leaked JB ROM will come out too then :-)

You can go here, and use this tool to make update, reinstal the firmware, root and stuff

Looks like there's an update for WW_GEN1 also : Acer_S500_AV043.RV16RC01_AV043.RV16RC02_WW_GEN1

Any one know what the new gen1 update is? Is it likely to block the Jelly bean update?

If u have any problems with the new update , or you just want to have it you can easy flash it to your device.  We kind of getting Orange to answer for our Jelly Bean and we got a opinnion with Jelly Bean Update comming from  the middle of February  to the end of March ( so , EMEA_ORGROD will still get jelly bean)

I think this updates RV16RC01 to the version that I have RV16RC02. Just wondering if this is Not a full ROM (only 40mb).. the RV16RC01 in 5th post is not (doesn't boot).. thank god for nandroid ...and thank vache for cwm!
