I'm going to do another full compile because then I can fix mounting of sd-ext in recovery and they've also bumped up the version.

That's good. You must be very busy, this and CWM as well. How goes that?

When you do a full build it makes a recovery image as well.

But over the past few days I've downloaded the AOKP 4.2 source which I've yet to work on, CM10.1 which lalit is working on, and pac.

Yow. Can I use an external hard drive to host my linux stuff, so that my normal hard drive stays windows? I'd like to take a look at some rom devving in more detail

That should work just fine. Just make sure you flash GRUB onto the Windows HDD. I'd also recommend getting an SSD.

I have a VM though.

That sounds slow. Think I'll go for a normal windows for now, then eventually get a larger hard drive and partition that

I have a 1TB Hard Drive and my virtual drive expands as it needs, but I swear that if I had an SSD to put it on, I could build in like 50 mins. They take about 80 mins right now.

Not too bad. The hard drive in mine is only 120gb, so I need to gut it quickly, as everything is about 5 years old, and can't run too fast

That's cool. I'll download and test

Edit: Unfotunately, the process com.android.phone has stoppped. Think AOKP is acting up. Also getting a weird Play Store error
