cm-9-12.15-JB_AdrenoV3.1-salsa

Word from me:

I had nothing to do with the creation of this, neither am I a programmer.

I just put it here so anybody knows they exist.

Gashes his repack

  • Is based on CM9 RC1
  • Taken some files from AOKP Milestone 6
  • Changed the driver on New Adreno libraries 04.01.01.00.036 V3
  • Changes in build.prop and sysctl.conf

    Attention! To make mass_storage work you should:
    1. Remove all drivers Acer and then delete files and wpdmtp.inf wpdmtp.pnf the folder C:/Windows/INF/.
    2. Reboot the computer.
    3. Now you can connect your phone.

    Fixes

    • Stock notification was smooth, stable interface itself works.
    • LGHome 3 no longer hangs, as it was in the original RC1.
    • LED notifications: for it to work go to Settings-screen-display Events and here put checkbox on the property value and set to any, but different colors (except white) on the missed call and voice mail

    Known Bugs

    [*]Screen rotation animation not smooth.

    [*]Wifi sometimes needs a restart.

    [*]Bluetooth needs restart after turning on.

    [*]Panorama camera not working

    [*]Camera sometimes freezes.

    [*]If phone is constantly asking for pin code, simply press the cancel.

After opening the search bar of the Play Store I just got a boot loop... Trying to reflash...

EDIT : same problem after wiping and reflashing. And Bluetooth doesn't work. But it's really faster than RC1 or other CM9 roms and the boot logo is just beautiful. :D I think I'll keep it on my Liquid when the problems will be solved.

There is also a patch to this initial build (cm-9-JB-Adreno-V3.4) : JB_StatusMod.zip

Source : http://4pda.ru/forum...0#entry19244573

As far as I understand (thanks Google Translation), there are some improvements :

  • Patch on SystemUI for smoothness ;
  • opening applications is faster ;
  • battery improvement ;
  • notification bar JellyBean style ;
  • recent applications (long press home button) with gray background rather than Nyan Cat style (?) .

I don't have the time to upload it at the moment, maybe someone could do it ? Otherwise, you can download it if you have an account on 4pda.

Don't forget to flush Dalvik cache after install it.

That's strange, it's completely stable for me. Your phone has an attitude. ;)

Are you using a Liquid E or an A1?

I'm using a Liquid A1.

Gonna test CM9-JB-Adreno-4, I hope it will be fixed.

I'm using a Liquid A1.

Make sure you're using a swap partition on your SD card, as the Liquid A1 only has 256MB of RAM and needs a swap partition in order to run ICS properly. This may be why you're experiencing issues.

Edit... it seems [ray made it so that the framework-res uses less memory in the new version, this may improve things for users of the A1. Let us know how it goes.

Yep, Keyboard doesn't work on V4, but I installed JB Keyboard.

And I've got the same problem ! I was moving the Camera icon and my A1 rebooted, and rebooted, and rebooted : a boot loop. I have a SWAP partition of 128Mb created with GParted so I think it's ok for the swap...

Go into the System Settings menu, click on Launcher, then General... place a check beside Auto-rotate screen. I think that will do what you want it to.

Try turning on zRam (18%) and 'Allow purging of assets', under Performance/Memory management... see if that makes things more stable for you.
