JB library upgrade for CM9

Sorry to bombard this forum with threads, but I saw someone mention this upgrade and wondered if it actually works:

just tried the updated adreno GPU libraries

antutu scores...

before: 4141

after: 4259

OK, I just tried it and it seems quite smooth, no stutter in the launcher even with a LWP. Antutu scores also look promising:

Before library update: 3668

After library update: 3727

(No overclocking)

While the Antutu scores don't have a big difference, there is definitely a speed enhancement. The keyboard works better, scrolling is smooth, everything is nice :D

I did not bother with antutu, but there does seem to be a small but distinct improvement in smoothness with this added on to R5 cm9

With this libs on B952 ww, I have lower results on antutu, lower scores for 200... :(

B952 is not CM9. Read the title...

Haha, are you serious? Its a JELLYBEAN library update, so installing it on a jellybean ROM will have no difference :lol:

You basically replacing JB files with the exact same JB files :P

I tried on CM10 too and got better Antutu scores and UI seems more fluid. Are you certain Daz's CM10 libs are the same as these?

They probably are very similar/the same

CM9 uses the EGL taken from stock

CM10 uses the 4.1 EGL early sample distributed by Qualcomm on qDevNet

I've installed on b952 stock+ and it adds about 200 to antutu score and about 100 to quadrant.

Hmm, so maybe it does work with most roms. Maybe it could be included in ICS roms as default.
