Guest smaje Posted December 29, 2012 Report Share Posted December 29, 2012 Hi Google Play store (don't like that name!) says that the Chrome and Firefox apps are incompatible with my Blade. So no option to download. Why is that? Does anyone know? Is there any way round it? And what alternatives do people use for a good browser? I'm trying Dolphin which seems pretty good so far. Guest karololszak Posted December 29, 2012 Report Share Posted December 29, 2012 These apps are designed for devices with an ARMv7 processor and our blades have ARMv7 architekture, that's why they're incompatible. It's hard to work around it (people used to say it's impossible but then some chinese played around adobe flash which is for ARMv7 and they made it work on ARMv6 devices). My browser of choice is Boat Browser, I previously used Miren Browser and I switched when Miren stopped updating their browser and Boat looked almost the same (they have changed the looks by then, but I like it the way it is now). I find Boat faster than Dolphin or Skyfire browsers. I also use Opera Mobile when I want to save some data usage on 3G. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
