Hi there.
Maybe you could try GingerBreak:
http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1044765
Or z4root:
http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=833953
These are .apk files that can be installed on your phone, so you don't have to do the volume down + power button thing. There's a touch version of clockworkmod too:
http://www.modaco.co...hl__ cwm touch
Hope this helps!
Edit: I'm wondering, you're saying you want to flash a stock ROM... what are you using right now? If it's a custom ROM, shouldn't you be rooted already? I'd like to help as best I can as I'm still learning more and more about Android every day.

Uh Rostilj xD, you said "I need to root GB" in your first post... Sorry it wasn't what you were looking for. There is a version that works for ICS too. You should be able to find it since everyone loves it so (except me, I went back to GingerBread and have never been happier. Apps that stuttered on ICS now run smooth again). Pyntux, I had a different version from yours before I went back to stock GB, but from what I have just read, the touch version just means you can now tap on the screen to go back:
Controls for standard CWM:
I should've read the thread more thoroughly. If there was a "complete" touch version (allowing touch input to select options and the use of the volume switches), it would be infinitely more useful.
Controls for standard CWM:
- Touch any part of the screen (including the touch buttons) to go back
- Volume keys navigate as normal
- Power to select
