This ROM only works on a device running baseband version 2030 that has been upgraded through the official Ice Cream Sandwich process. It is compatible with both the U8815 and U8818 models.

Instructions:

• Grab the ROM, JB Keyboard and Google apps (links below) and copy them to your SD card.
  
• Extract files from JB Keyboard to your SD card.
  
• Boot in to Recovery Mode (recommend CWM from Dazzozo) by turning the phone off, and turning it on while holding the volume up key.
  
• Wipe Data/Factory Reset
  
• Wipe cache partition
  
• Mounts and storage -> format cust/format data/format system
  
• Advanced -> wipe dalvik cache -> reboot recovery
  
• Repeat Wipe data/Factory Reset and format cust/data/system
  
• 'Install zip from sdcard' -> 'Choose zip from sdcard' -> ROM
  
• If you get "some symlinks failed", reboot recovery and try the install again.
  
• Go back -> reboot system now -> Yes - Disable recovery flash (important!)
  
• open file manager and install 2 apps from JB Keyboard: LatinImeGoogle.apk and LatinImeDirectionaryPack.apk
  
• Reboot your device again in to recovery mode.
  
• 'Install zip from sdcard' -> 'Choose zip from sdcard' -> Google apps
  
• 'Reboot System Now'
  
• Have fun!
  
• after install new keyboard you can remove the Chinese default keyboard. Just use a Root explorer and go to: system /app and remove SogouInput_22702_tg_ff_shendu1_20121026.apk

• fix wifi and bt freeze
  
• USB connection works with all options

if you have reboots after unlock the lockscreen just wipe your data again in recovery mode and reinstall my ROM. (follow exactly my instruction above)

This has a good performance but i really need the Internal space.
- and on Meija i don't have any bug reallted with the Call ID.

hi, i havent followed these jellybean roms development.

Does this rom have hardware aceleration and project butter?

to search a contact on phonebook, does it have privilege to search in english??   shendu had it all in chinese(pinyin)

would love to see if you fixed it to work with english names

Seems VERY quick. had one system ui fail during installation, other than that no problems. doesn't seem as smooth as cm10 but feels faster.
just a shame there's still the Chinese text in the notification bar header.

i tried these tricks earlier but after changing the launcher, the launcher option in settings menu doesn't work.....i wonder if he fixed that

It would be nice to know where that text originates from. I extracted a few relevant apks on shendu to try find that text but couldn't.
