no, the lockscreen is working just fine, no lag or delay or anything like that, i just don't like the needles extra step it requires, power button is so small there is practically no chance of it ever being pressed unintentionally

anyway, i tried with other lockscreeens, but they can either be enabled, or disabled (the default one kicks in), but not enabled AND not shown

finally i found a "no lock" app that prevents lockscreen from showing, but it must be run in the background, so i would still prefer some less hackish solution

The official version of the V2 ROM19 public beta, with number of improvements and optimizations!

Supported models:Huawei C8812/U8818/U8860/U8825D (G330D), ZTE N880E, Lenovo A789, HTC Incredible S, Google Nexus S

Current ROM improvements:

higher than native. New features do not reduce available RAM space

thanks dakok, but they all just do the exact same thing as my app (and one even blatantly recommends it in its own description)

btw, beta v14 was made into the official stable v1, and now they are designating the beta v19 as the official stable v2 - but i don't know if its the exact same v19, or v19 with some more bugs fixed (and no new features from v20, which may be still buggy)

anyway, those who had problems with the beta v20 should try that instead

EDIT: also found on their forum that they themselves will be releasing a slimed-down, bare-bones version (likely without any chinese stuff at all), probably for the chinese new year (10. february)...

works fine for me - just click "download anyway" in the bottom right when google complains about the size of the file

@dakok: do you really use the cro/ser pack? honestly, it looks just like chinese to me, i get lost in the menus

These packs are keyboard packs. You get few extra
letters in huaweis keyboard. Nothing to do with menus???

So I flashed this Rom on Saturday.
First impression: it looks amazing, moves very fast, no app crashes, no delay, disabled the chinese lockscreen, installed a few themes...

Although, I don't know how to restore my backed up data. If I try to restore it with Titanium, every app that I restore crashes, If I even try to install All Backup from Huawei, it won't let me install it... so I'm left without any contacts (except the ones from backed up in Google), no messages, no data from previous apps, and so on...

What to do now cause I really want to keep this Rom?

Im not trying to troll or anything but this is the worst rom i have ever tryed, on any device. Slow, not functional, confusing.. its chinese rom + ugly go launcher. I would not suggest this rom to anyone, waste of time.

I don't know about you but for me it's pretty fast, no crashes, no anything... is smooth and looks very nice

@yaqh: and it is, the older version is for those that reported having some problems with this one

@GOlteanu: he is probably one of those "performance" rom guys, anyway, how did you disable the lockscreen - as I did, or some other way?
