ok...someone managed to do a successfully update?any changes...any improvements?i waste a lot of time customizing my phone,deleted a lot of Orange crap apps...so if the update doesn`t bring anything big...i will stay on the preinstalled verstion until Jelly Bean comes to my phone.

i installed it... it seems a bit faster but maybe that's just the placepo effect:)))))

Anyone with this update tried to unlock the bootloader using vache tutorial?does it work?

The tutorial posted for unlocking BL is for JB version. If we try it on 4.0.4. it can/will brick our phone...

too bad...it bugs me off every time i want to enter in recovery mode i have to connect the phone to PC.it would be more easily just to flash the recovery partition.but for that we need bootloader unlocked

Use terminal emulator with commands:
Su
Reboot recovery

I cannot update my phone:( I renabled all the Orange default application, but I still get an error when I try to update. Is there a log where can I see the exact error?

Flash the stock rom. Will work 100%

Download this
Move the update.zip to your SDCARD
Shut down the phone
Press shutdown button + power down ( butonu de pornire + volum jos pana vibreaza)
After the device vibrate press shutdown button + power up ( butonu de pornire + volum sus pana vibreaza)
Then .. Wipe all data / factory reset
Update from external SDCARD after the data its wiped
And choose the update.zip archive

btw dont forget to have a microSD card inside the phone when you update, because it wont work otherwise

It's true romanian users can rejoyce....4.1.2 is now available through OTA...remember to fully charge your phones...and enjoy your updated phone !!! :-D

Yes, SD card is needed, remove root if you have any.

Is there any other way to update it beside via update from sdcard? Like via pc maybe?
