Whats this talk about cm7, why would you use that when we have cm10.1? am i missing something?

agreed. Why you guys want cm7? So outdated... Guys evolutivon is the way. Move to cm 10.1. It is awesome and its almost bug free :-)

yes but ih have random reboots with 3g and high battery drain, thats for all cm roms for me

The reboots problem only seems to be present with some people, as for the battery drain, I agree it's not that good. I still don't mind though, as the software itself makes up for it.

As Khan said the reboot problem is only for some people.nice can clock any ROM to 1228Mhz and play a hard game or so anything and it won't reboot...

Ficko, I tried to register, but it didnt want to accept my fake phone number.
After few combinations, I quit.
It is not that complicated, I succeded to register on Shendu forum.
Give it a try, you have easy translation in Chrome, by default.

Thanks.  I tried it last night and here are my findings -

1.  You can flash it on 2030 baseband
2. It installs and boots very fast
3. I can't get a phone signal, manual search for networks returns an error

I quickly went back to CM10.1 as without use of the phone part of Android the G300 becomes rather...  less useful.

A mod needs to merge all these CM7 threads.

CM7 is bad, all is chinese and there is NO network

The Chinese thread is about 100 pages long, what are they discussing that we don't know about? Network definitely isn't fixed, I tried it myself.  The rom however was very, very responsive - the sort of thing you'd expect from 2.3.  But without network working it's useless!
