The USB port on my Blade has become useless, but the phone itself is perfectly fine. I'll be upgrading to something like a Nexus 4 in a few months but in the mean time I'd like to keep using my Blade and not go back to my old feature phone.

I'm guessing battery chargers like this work fine with the Blade's battery but in the reviews of every single one there are people complaining about them breaking after just a few uses. Does anyone have any experience with these things?

try cleaning the USB port out with a cotton bud or some compressed air. Turns out dust and pocket fluff can get in an made the contacts useless therefore making the port seem broken.
