Play Magazines - Subscribe to US magazine?

I can access Google Play Magazine store in the UK and have subscribed to a few magazines. I'd like to be able to get a few US versions as well, for example the US version of Wired. Is it possible to access the US Play Store from the UK to subscribe to a US magazine using a UK credit card? Could I do it from my desktop? And if I do, will the US subscribed magazines download to by device as well as the UK ones, or is it just one or the other? Thanks!
