Guest hucknallred
Hi, first post here, but great info on here that I've used to flash various ROMS to my G300. I have a UK Voda G300, that I've tried various ROMs on. I use my work Sim in it who recently ported from Voda to O2. I didn't need to unlock, the O2 sim just worked fine, I think I read somewhere that a Cyanogen Mod unlocked it, but I could be wrong... Anyway, the phone switches seamlessly between UK ASDA(Vodafone) & O2. I've just come to Ireland & bought a Tesco .ie SIM & it asks for a SIM unlock code ?? I just wondered how it could be happy with 2 different UK networks, but not an Irish one. I don't mind paying for an unlock code, I take it I need to be on a stock rom to do this? Cheers CD
Guest MiLiPa
On your last question - I have the very same doubt, I don't seem to be able to introduce unlock codes with CM. I'm afraid I can't be of much help though.
Guest hucknallred
As the old adage goes - RTFM or read the f***** manual! Sim PIN & PUK code on the back of the book that came with the SIM, I was unlocked all along :)
Guest dalyer
Moot issue now but just to clarify you DO need to be on stock to enter a network unlock code as far as I know.
