I've abandoned this for now. If anyone can get it working, please feel free to write a guide - this is a nightmare on Windows... time to reboot back to Ubuntu :)

Thanks, I have played with these..

 

Unfortunately they don't appear to work on the Hudl :(

Yeah I'd found these before and got the errors so reverted back to Linux until a fully working version was found.

I don't blame you - the "libusb" instructions for Windows were confusing and fragmented, so I gave up on it for now.
