Using the excellent Xprivacy module on stock rooted 4.4 on my Nexus 4 and have been fiddling with settings. Managed to get 4OD app (the online catchup service for UK Channel 4) to work. It doesn't work on rooted phones (presumably due to tv network paranoia), but I simply stopped it from accessing SU and it works perfectly, including downloads. Really pleased. Inane restriction anyway. However, the same can not be said of my Nexus 7 2013 running CM11 M1 build. Same settings as my Nexus 4 and 4OD either says "This content is not available at the moment" or "Please restart 4OD" when I try to play a video. Any one have any ideas what might be wrong? Cheers! Guest dusf Posted February 6, 2015 Report Share Posted February 6, 2015 I am trying to get 4oD working on a Xunity Eclipse which is a rooted device. I have tried Root Cloak using Xprivacy and Xposed.
