Guest dt_matthews
Does anyone know what checks are performed when an adb sideload command is checked? Im trying to flash a 4.42 US rom [falcon_retuglb-user 4.4.2] on to a tesco phone thats flashed with the stock uk rom presently (not rooted or even bootloader unlocked for that matter). Im getting a verficiation failure, Im assuming its because its deeming that the rom is for a 'different' [uk] device? (I checked the MD5 checksum is ok). TIA. Oh, and happy chrimblebobs, obviously. ;) Edited December 25, 2013 by dt_matthews
Guest Simon O
If you are trying to update from the UK 4.3 ROM to the US 4.4 ROM then don't use the OTA update. Instead, download the full rom from http://sbf.droid-developers.org/download.php?device=14&file=786 and use the batch file included to flash. You'll need to wipe as you are switching between UK and US roms.Warning: You won't be able to root or use custom recovery after flashing the 4.4.2 ROM until you downgrade the bootloader. Some details are on XDA and I'll post something up on here shortly.

Guest Simon O
Ah that will work fine then. Flash it with the special motorola fastboot which you can get from the recovery image that Paul posted on the forum.
