Yep, you must use cwm 6.0.4.4. 6.0.4.5 is for KitKat.

There are 3 possible causes.

Your bootloader is locked.

You are on wrong baseband.

You use a not suitable recovery.

you're totaly wrong.

the fact is the cwm (all versions) has a protection system that protects your phone from bricking.

the solution is :
1-install twrp recovery and install with it.

2-With a PC or g300(slower) and root explorer, unpack the rom, and go to META-INF\com\google\android\ and open updater-scripter and delete the phrase from getprop to "mounts"

And you just deleted the device check.

If the ROM is for your phone, It will install with the device check too. If it is not for your device, you are just risk that you brick your phone.

Status 7 is not the code for wrong device.

I've had same problem when tried installing custom rom for the first time. You have to install a newer version of clockworkmod recovery. Mine is 6.0.4.0 and works fine for 10.1 and 10.2 which I've been using.
