Guest Minimonkey Posted January 20, 2014 Report Share Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) After playing around with the Asus Memo build.prop file I manged to soft brick the Tablet and was stuck with an Upside down Asus logo on boot. I managed to resolve by following this Thread on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2503668 I managed to do this after a lot of messing about and got CWM Based Recovery (the Carliv Touch Recovery) and then flashed a pre-rooted stock rom from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2579887 Done it again..... but this time a bit worse, after trying to revert to stock through the thread on XDA I must have pressed something wrong and the tablet would not turn on at all and recovery came up in the wrong mode (Mediatek DA USB VCOM) in device manager. After trying all sorts the fixed is to just leave the tablet to run out of battery 1-2days then after, either charging or plugging back into the computer it will turn on or be recognized it the correct way (MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM) Edited July 21, 2014 by Minimonkey Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
