can i flash the zips from here on my s500? if it doesn't work, how can i reflash the stock ones?

I don't know if you can flash it, but you should do a full twrp backup before doing so. Revert it to that backup if anything fails.

I flashed the fonts and they work well..so i don;t think you will have problems

also, what class do you have on your sd cards? i'm looking forward to buy a new one and i have to choose between a 8gb samsung class4 card and a 4gb hama class6 card.

i want to work on my phone, as my noname card that i have now isn't seen by cwm.

16 GB SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDHC class 10, because it was €17.50 so why the hell not?

I've just flashed it without any backup and it works flawlessly (taking about the boot animation)
