I'm posting this on behalf of my father in-law who has a Moto G so I can only pass on his comments. Apologies if this has been asked before elsewhere.

Is OTG broken on the Kitkat upgrade? He has a stock unrooted Tesco Moto G. OTG worked with USB sticks before the upgrade but since moving to official Kitkat the usb memory sticks no longer mount.

Does OTG work with custom Kitkat ROMs?

Just want to know before he returns it as faulty (again!). Thanks in advance!

Yes it is. An app is required to make it work. I am not sure of the apps name though.
