Been waiting in anticipation of some posts on this device. I have had it for a few months now and I have traded in my iPad2 for this device.

Does everything I want and I am pretty happy with it. But I thought being a popular device there would be a bit more talking about it around here!!

I am stepping up, but really I don't have any problems with it so I guess I should ask is anyone doing anything funky with it, have they found any killer apps etc.

Come one guys, I cant be the only one!!!

Cheers

Phill

No, you're not, mate.

I own a N7 II as well and I don't have any problems either - so far, I'm loving it. It's by far the best device of it's price tag.

I've been visiting this section of the forum almost everyday and I'm amazed with the lack of posts here. On other forums the N7 II sections are teeming with posts about mod's, lauchers, rom's, etc... But - oddly - not here.

I've been wondering if anyone on this forum have bought a Nexus 7 II. :)

I replaced my Tesco Hudl with one. Nice device but I still prefer my iPad mini retina.

I want to install CyanogenMod it and then install Ubuntu Touch onto it but I've no idea how to do any of it, so far. So here's your chance to instruct a beginner on what to do.

Andreas have you returned it to the store? I am unfamiliar with support when it comes to a Nexus device direct from Google however I did a little search and there is a whole area for Nexus support. You can find this here: https://support.google.com/nexus/topic/3415522?hl=en-GB&ref_topic=3424348

Again a little search came up with http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_flo . This should help with installing cyanogen mod. As for installing Ubuntu, I found this: http://www.techradar.com/news/mobile-computing/how-to-install-ubuntu-touch-on-the-google-nexus-7-1142801

Id be extremely interested to know your thoughts on both, in case I should decide to update myself!

Hi, guys...
I have N7 II only about a month, today I wanted to see what this forum offers for this device...
Surprisingly nothing.

I need to say, this device is great... Before this I had first N7 2012...

I have MultiRom installed, as primary I have stock Android 4.4.4 and as second ROM I have Android L (just out of curiosity)

I have one also bought it in January and its been amazing, but...................and its a BIG but........

massively disappointed with Lollipop anyone else used it?

So Im going back to Stock 4.4.4 ran MUCH smoother and also i didnt have apps not working with 4.4.4, so far on 5 youtube wont always play videos, MX Player doesnt work at all, GTA: San Andreas wont play, SixAxis Controller doesnt work. So sticking with 4.4.4 for now at least.

could only afford the WiFi version so missing out on data whilst out and about, anyone have any experience with MiFi Dongles (In the UK).
