Guest lutzh Posted January 19, 2003 Report Share Posted January 19, 2003 I've had one of the P800 Developer Kits - and just sold it, because I simply compared the use of the P800 and the SPV - and then decided to keep the SPV. What makes the P800 great is the touchscreen - but thats just half of the medal - since its pretty shitty to write textmessages without the keyboard while you drive 180 km/h (I live in germany...). You can definitly do that with your SPV. The camera in the P800 is just as useless as the one that came with the SPV, there's just one company selling a phone with camera thats worth being called a camera: Siemens S55, has a flashlight built in and hires. The rest of the P800 is short story: No buggy firmware - even in the prerelease, nice functionallyties - but the poor body and the scary noises from the thin plastic battery back, the bigger size let me keep the SPV wich is more solid build hardware and a nice hobbie firmware...
