Hey guys,

So what programs or games have you installed in your SAP? Since I bought my phone 2 weeks ago, all I have are 6 MP3 songs installed in a 32MB mmc card.

Since I'm waiting on the arrival of a 256MB sd card, just wanted to know from most of you if there are "freeware" sites offering some downloads......or maybe some "must haves" programs that you think are great to have?

some free must-haves:

smart explorer (so you can browse, move and delete the files on your phone)

task manager (so you can close active applications and not have to restart every thirty minutes due to memory drainage)

sms tools (nifty tool to delete inbox and sent item messages all at once)

pocket mvp (for playing .avi videos and mp3s. use it with virtualdub to encode almost all video formats to .avis)

:)

Oh yeah......I have those na! :)

I was in SM Southmall a few days after buying my SAP & just entered their establishment to ask a simple question.

They were kind enough to load my phone with those goodies for free from their laptop - even though I didnt buy the phone from them.

Great service! :(

Well, I've got mine loaded up with PHM Registry Editor... normally the first thing I load up on any device... :hack: :hack: :hack:

A file explorer, SMS tools, Orneta Notepad, CityTime, Smart SS, SP Task Manager, and my favorite... Caller2Picture.

Im not sure about that but the instructions say you create a folder "pict" in the SD card. Why dont you try what you have in mind... create that folder in the phone memory..and see if it works.

It is recommended though that you store your pix as well as mp3s, videos and games in the SD card because these files eat up a lot of spaces.

SmartFace only works if you have an SD card/MMC. No support for pics stored in IPSM. If there's only a registry entry for that application, it might be possible for SmartFace to work with the pics on the IPSM.

to ppcsurfr:

would you be kind enough to share your Caller2Picture with me.

thanks

Caller2Picture is available from http://www.v2r.ag

You can purchase a license from there.

Sharing applications and licenses are frowned upon as they are considered a form of piracy.

I hope you understand.

there are lots of links here MoDaCo Software Catalogue

there's also a nifty freeware program called Quickclose that closes all apps (avoid the hassle of using Task Manager to close each app one-by-one) get it here Quickclose download

i also use Remote Control to type in SMS messages using my PC keyboard. learn more about it here Remote Control

there's also a program that will turn your phone on then off, called QuickReset. get it here but beware that if you've done skins/tweaks, this is NOT FOR YOU as your skins/tweaks will go away!?!

i also loaded themes generated with the microsoft theme generator, read about it here

Theme Generator
