Compal Rede Smartphone only plays music through speaker.  I tried searching this forum and did not find any information on this, and I am not sure if this is a hardware or software problem.  I have called Everlink and the CSR stated that the phone was not supposed to play music through the headphones, that it was only supposed to use external speaker.  I wanted to put this up to see if he was right.  This definitely lessens the usefulness of the device if others have to listen to my music.  I have the 1048 rom, as I haven't been able to get the last update to work yet.

this explains why when I tried the stereo headset it didnt work for me.
