Guest virgil Posted July 23, 2003 Report Share Posted July 23, 2003 A friend of mine who is using a SMART postpaid subscription is having difficulty activating its call barring. Settings was already changed ---Programs/settings/telephony/call barring/ selected "ALL" for both Block Incoming/Outgoing calls: Calls were barred but SMS/MMS/WAP/GPRS connection were not barred. Test was also done using NOKIA & Ericsson --all services were barred (calls,SMS/MMS/WAP/GPRS ) Is this normal for smartphones? A cousin of mine who is using ADDICT Mobile is also having problems activating its barring. is this something to do with .cpl XML document.pls see file. document under WINDOWS/callbarring.cpl - pls help... I have two addict sim cards; with one i can set the barring interchanging it with different phones. But with the other one, regardless of the phone, I can not activate the feature. Brought this matter with smart cs and they made mention that they will request their technical to reset my password and try again after 48 hours.
