* When accessing the Programs Menu, you can click the corresponding number to the left of the listings to access that folder or program, instead of scrolling then hitting the action key.

* Send an picture by email.

Connect the camera to your phone.

Go to inbox and select new / from camera, take the picture and select it.

In the to: box fill in the email adress and send.

* To put the phone in silent mode (i.e. to stop it ringing and vibrating) when recieving an incoming call, press the volume up or down key once. The phone will continue to ring and you can still answer the call if you wish, but it's handy when you want to pretend to be away from your SPV! This is the same as pressing the "Silent" softkey on most Nokias when recieving a call.

* When selected a contact use left/right keys to select between home/work/mobile/sms etc, then click action key and it will perform appropriate action, ie: place call, start new SMS...

* To SMS a contact number of person A to person B, find person A in contacts, then hit left/right untill you get to 'sms' then hit action. Now you can easily copy the number of person A from 'To' field without having to remember it. Once done, remove A from 'To' and add B as recepient.

* To make a shortcut to an app in the programs menu, highlight the one you want, then 'Add to speed dial'. If you use the double digit shortcut, tap the first number then press and hold the second one. Ie: 45 - tap 4 hold 5

* To stop the annoying 'disconnect' sound after a call ended/failed that makes you deaf, download EarSaver

* To download Zip files of the internet via Pocket IE download iZip

* Voice Notes button mapping

* line-1 to line-2 switcher (available in newer updates by holding the # key down)

* press the phones power button once to access the quick list

* Type Special Characters (%, ^, etc.) When editing a field, press and hold the '#' key to bring up a list of special characters.

* Activate the keylock? Press and hold the END key (Red Phone Button).

* When scrolling thru contacts, highlight the contact and press the direction pad/joystick right or left to scroll thru that contact's multiple numbers.

* To set a contact's number as their default, click on the contact, click menu, set as default.

* Don't change the time unless you switch your alarm off first. if you do theres a chance you will get a phantom - where the alarm doesnt show as being set, but goes off at that time.

* Turn down the earpiece volume before recording a memo and the noise that prompts the start and end of recording is not recorded
