Guest w4rmk
Finally a place that is selling accessories for the Mitac Mio 8380, including a real car charger! Free shipping is a nice bonus. I have ordered from this place before and they have been great. http://www.data-nation.com
Guest rockdoc
Actually these two accessories have been available for quite some time from pc-mobile.net. I've had the sync and charge cable for about a month now.
Guest w4rmk
I never liked that pull-retract cable for use as a car charger. Because whenever you pick up the phone to make a call and the charger is plugged in the cable tries to retract and pull the phone out of your hand! DataNation has a real traditional car charger. Also they are adding a travel charger for the Mio later today. Since I ordered my Mio from Hong Kong, I have to use a 220 to 120 step down converter which makes the AC adapter bulky and cumbersome to carry around. Really? never had that happen once as the springs not that strong :?
Guest weathertop
The travel charger is now on the data-nation.com. Just placed my order!
Guest w4rmk
Yeah I just placed my order for 2 of them, one for home and one for the office. Datanation says they are also going to be offering the iPowerPak for the Mio, which will let me charge the phone with standard AA batteries. This is cool if you will be away from power (car/home) for an extended period of time. I have one of these for my iPaq and use it all the time.
