When starting the app it gives me the option of which service to connect to then just hangs up and returns to the phones menu. Maybe i'll try installing it on the phone :? Any other options anyone? EDIT: All sorted put it on pass-through and all worked fine. Nice little program :) I have the same problem and could not sort it out until now. What can I do? Anyone help? Guest Pagemakers Posted October 15, 2003 Report Share Posted October 15, 2003 Not wanting to change the subject, but I guess this is what happens when MS don’t provide the phone updates to everyone and it's left to the Service Providers. We all have different versions of the OS and now some software will run on some phones depending on the update installed on the phone. Back on subject now..... The problem appears to be with the Orange UK GPRS firewall, but we are seeing if we can connect using alternative methods. Watch this space... Guest wbloore Posted October 15, 2003 Report Share Posted October 15, 2003 The software works almost perfectly for me. I am using Vodafone GPRS in the UK, so maybe it is the Orange GPRS firewall. The only problem I have experienced so far is if i make a typing mistake when entering my username and password for a service - the back button doesn't work, so I haven to press cancel and start again. Now it just stays on the "Establishing connection screen" and never logs on at all. Anyone else able to logon earlier (by whatever means) and unable to log on now (3pm)?? Guest blewer Posted October 15, 2003 Report Share Posted October 15, 2003 Just tried it doesn't work at all for me now :) When trying to connect (after using pass-through) I forgot to change back my data connections and was presented with a screen asking if I wanted to connect using Orange WAP. Nothing new there then! Ps in the new version of this program you still can not add an underscore or any symbol from the hash key when creating a new contact. Posted from my SmartPhone! Removed and installed latest version a dozen times and still it doesn’t work. Anyone else started to have problems with pass-though using and Orange SPV/E100?
