Guest roundsjr
Hi, Just got 4 MPX200 phones for our company. Our PLAN was to use the phones to connect to our corp mail server via VPN and IMAP. Well, this doesn't work! I got an unlocked MiTac 8380 to test this and it worked perfect on TMobile. So, I ASSumed we would be able to do the same w/ ATT and this phone. Was on phone w/ ATT Data Services ALL day today. VPN is supported, VPN is not supported.... bla bla... I realize the phone is new, but they have NO IDEA how to deal w/ it. Should have trained their people before release!
Guest roundsjr
Posted this on the MS News server also. Guy from Microsoft helped me and now EVERYTHING works GREAT!!!! FYI: If you need this functionality, you need to request ATT change your Access Point to PUBLIC and you must configure your phone as such. Just wish ATT told me this 10 hrs ago :? Changing it to PUBLIC is $3 a month more though... but it works now.
