Voyager - Hot or Not?

Honestly - who actually thinks that the Voyager/Tanager phones are good looking phones :?: I for one just can't get exited about them, it would be on functionality alone that I bought one. Compared to the Mpx200, it just looks rather chunky...in a King Size mars bar kinda way

It's a disappointment about the Moto running on 2002, on the other hand not having built in camera isn't an issue for me. I noticed in another thread that the camera quality on the E200 wasn't as good as the original SPV, THAT also is disappointing. I don't buy the argument that it's easily corrected on the PC, that really removes the 'see it, snap it, send it' appeal does it not? Don't get me wrong, a GOOD QUALITY inbuilt camera would be great, it seems that the E200 doesn't fit that description though  I'm very temped to wait till the vapourware Moto mxp220(?) which will have it all (allegedly!) Meantime, I'm still undecided between E200 and Mpx200...

I actually quite like the style of the E100/200, and the Piano black / blue combo of the MPx does nothing for me :)

(And i'm a candy bar as opposed to clamshell man anyway!)

Personally i really like the look of the e100/200 phones, such a huge improvement i would have upgraded for that reason alone (but i got a e100 via orange care instead, hehe)

Design-wise, the only thing i'd really want in another phone would be one with a aluminium-coated shell like the siemens SL45 did. A holy-grail for mobile phone design if you ask me :) (ie. looks very nice and is near bullet-proof)

As for the e200's camera, thats only a minor niggle. all you'd need is a third-party bit of camera software that fixes the colour-balance on each photo it takes, or some little utilty that does it for you afterwards (i'm sure one of the software developers round here could do something like that) :(
