Hi,

I can record the tags, but there is no sound prompts to let you know when to speak. Same when trying to dial using voice tags, the message on screen is a 'speak after the tone' type message, but there is no tone played. Ive checked the registry and can find entries under HKCUControl panelSoundsVrecBeg and VRecEnd with corresponding pointers to a couple of .mid files (which are in the correct location) Anyone have a clue as to why they won't play as they should? I have installed Changer Sonneries but I don't know if that should affect it or not... :?:

Ok, working with Midnight to find a solution has resulted in a cab file which should allow the voice tag 'beeps' to be audible. In my case, I had set the System Sound Volume to OFF, so that's why these beeps weren't being heard.

The cab file changes the sound category of the VrecBeg and VRecEnd sounds from SYSTEM to NOTIFICATION, so that these sounds will be heard irrespective of what the system sounds setting is.

Get the cab file HERE from Midnights site.

NB you don't NEED this cab, it's only if you want to system sounds to be OFF, but still want to hear the Voice tag beeps.
