Guest carvas Posted December 7, 2003 Report Share Posted December 7, 2003 File Name :: Carvas PPC Author :: carvas Category :: Other Description :: it contains 3 files in the zip file, CarvasPPCalarm.jpg , carvas_PPCalarm.home.xml and alarmplugFINAL.cab first of all copy the alarmplugFINAL.cab to your phone and install it. then put the xml and the jpg file in your IPSMApplication DataHome directory. then go to the settings menu, choose the home screen and then set "Home screen layout" to "CarvasPPCAlarm" and set the "Background image" to "CarvasPPCalarm" or leave it "Default", let the colour scheme be "Default" too. it supports missed calls, all day events and call in progress that are shown bellow all the items. regards! If you'd drawn it yourself, as I have, there would be a smooth gradient. I know there's no copyright on this kinda thing, but I think it's more than a little dishonest to rip off someone else's work and claim it as your own. What I mean is that I worked out the XML, how it would look on the smartphone compared to the PPC, omitting the owner info and replacing it with the carrier and profile, and working out where to put the MRU. I post a preview in another thread, a number of people say how they like it, then suddenly this one appears, and uses my screenshot as a base. I'd be stupid to try and claim it's 100% mine, but I'm a little pissed that someone's made minor alterations and posted it before mine. In all fariness tho, by its very definition, one PPC homescreen is gunna look very similar to another - there's not a lot you can do about that! Mine was first posted (a screenshot that is) on october 4th in THIS thread.
