They are more willing to help than people here sa Modaco. If we want to have more members sa forum, then i suggest we post the instructions to downgrade here. Just imagine what Mar's feelings would be kung pagkakakitaan ng iba ang procedure na hindi naman sila ang naghirap gumawa. I really do not have that much of an issue about it because I never had that 1.7 ROM, anyway. But I strongly agree that we be discreet about this procedure. Tama rin si nokiauser...I'm sure,everybody here noticed that the newer the ROMs are from SMART,the harder they are to unlock.This fact gives people like Mar, more difficulty or worse, lesser chances of unlocking them. But if members from modaco would leak the procedure to SMART , same thing pating . Pero tama, bad trip nga yang mga mang-gagancho sa greenhills. meron na nga rin dito sa Davao eh, 1K daw bayad! putik talaga. mga oportunista . they got it for free, then they'll sell it , ang mahal pa. Guest teptep Posted December 30, 2003 Report Share Posted December 30, 2003 According to a forum in Rey Vegafria's site, it's the latest "innovation" SMART implemented in their recent SAPs to prevent users from downgrading SAP ROM 1.70 using Mar's procedure. I have NO confirmation of this yet. If there are users here who just bought their SAP, please try Mar's procedure and let us know the results. I agree with you. it's not a matter of legality coz you are your phones owner and you're are responsible for it. crooks are taking advantage coz it's ahrd to find. if its available online with the author's permission then only fols will pay for the procedure. remember i have amost ahundred apps downloaded fro my SPV nad not one was paid for. kasi shareware. personally i dont need to have my cell open lined coz i only got one sim. but it will always point back to "Mar" as the one who did what most thought can not be done. chill Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest kalinte Posted March 8, 2004 Report Share Posted March 8, 2004 ang 3650 and other smartphones (nokia) na smart naka locked din? why would smart make an extra effort to lock the HTC phone then? ilan ba SAP subscribers? it doesnt make sense. i personally dont believe that smart will spend time and money to develope the program when eventualy poeple will find a way to open it. take for example si mario. it took him what? three month? to open the HTC? probably less. it's probably an add on feature of the program but not the core of it. kaya spread the mana..... open all SAPs.
